    Surface Quality

    The surface of the wire shall be smooth and shall not be cracked, corroded, folded and iron oxide. The depth does not exceed the allowable deviation of the local dimension of the H dimension and the individual pits are allowed to exist. The surface of the annealed wire is allowed to have oxidized color.

     

    Decarburization layer

    The depth of the total decarburization layer (ferrite + transition layer) on the side of the steel wire is not more than 2.0% H, the corner does not test the decarburization layer
